  • Could your business save money, improve energy resilience and make better use of renewable electricity?

A new Business Battery Project from Queenstown Electrification Accelerator (QEA) and Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC), funded by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), will help eligible businesses explore large-scale battery storage, with funding expected to cover up to 75% of feasibility study costs and up to 40% of design and installation costs. The initiative is aimed at larger energy users looking to reduce peak electricity costs, strengthen energy security and get more value from renewable power.

Businesses can also learn more about the opportunity, funding criteria and potential benefits by joining a webinar on 27 October, where questions can be put directly to the project team. Registration details are available on the project webpage.
